Purpose:

To develop a structured, consistent approach to selection interviewing and identifying the best candidates.

Participants will learn how to:

• Plan a professional, focused interview
• Develop rapport with applicants and create a positive atmosphere
• Use precision questioning to 'get past the cv'
• Get the applicant fully involved in the interview process
• Conduct a competency based interview
• Evaluate applicants interviews fairly and accurately
• Deal with internal 'politics' in recruiting projects
