NUKEM, an international leader in radioactive waste management recruits top-level graduates on an annual basis.

Those graduates are given an induction training programme that involves presentations by the directors of the company.

Additional outcomes are an enhanced understanding of internal and external customers, improved understanding of own personal motivations and values and developing win-win relationships and a solution-focused outlook.

In previous years this induction had been split into the training part and the presentations by the directors.

Solution

Summit designed and delivered a bespoke, interactive and innovative 3-day induction programme in close cooperation with NUKEM in order to include the director’s presentations to the graduates.

This approach to the induction programme allowed the flexibility for the participants to interact more closely with the directors.

Participants stated that the induction programme had instantly enhanced their self-confidence, self-awareness and their ability and willingness to develop win-win relationships and a focus on solutions to complex problems.
